Crashed Office
The Office program crashed just before you save a document and sometime it’s just hanged and couldn’t be closed except through the Task Manager. When it restarted, the last saved status of the backup copy is restored and it’s likely that you would lost the last ten minutes of your work.If it’s remain hanged and can no longer be closed through the Task Manager, try using Microsoft Office Application Recovery. Click Start - All Programs - Microsoft Office Tools - Microsoft Office Application Recovery. Select the respective program and click Recover Application. The command restarts the selected application from the ‘last processing’ status not by the ‘last saved’ status.
